• Moderate temperature sources that may give rise to spontaneous
ignition.
• Electrical sources such as powered equipment, electrostatic
accumulation, stray currents, radiofrequency pick-up, and lightning.
• Physical sources such as compression energy, heat of adsorption,
friction, and impact.
• Chemical sources such as catalytic materials, pyrophoric materials,
and unstable species formed in the system.
